We believe music can change a life

For many young people, especially those facing difficult or uncertain paths, bass music means more than just passive listening — it offers a language for self-expression, a gateway to community, a source of structure and discipline, and a positive outlet for emotion. When nurtured, that passion can evolve into confidence, purpose, and even a career.

Over the years, we've heard countless stories from across the scene:
People who were at risk of falling through the cracks until they found DJing or production.
Shy kids who stepped behind the decks and grew into bold performers.
Teens on the path towards addiction who found structure and identity through music.
Young people navigating emotional challenges who found healing by putting their feelings into sound.
Time and again, we’ve seen first hand how this music — and the people who love it — can make a positive impact in someone's life.

That’s why we’re proud to launch Future Frequencies, an ongoing, community-driven project that provides free DJ / production gear and education to at-risk kids and young adults who want to learn the craft but don’t have the means to begin.

HOW IT WORKS

YOU DONATE : Even a few dollars at a time makes a difference. The average cost of a starter controller is about 350$
THEY APPLY : Young people tell us why they want to get involved in DJing or production, and what barriers they’re facing.
WE VERIFY : Our team personally reviews every request for authenticity and selects an affordable gear setup tailored to their needs.
WE DELIVER : Once donations meet the cost of the gear, we ship it directly to the recipient. No red tape. No strings attached.
Then we start again — one controller and one future at a time.

APPLY FOR FREE GEAR

Are you a young aspiring DJ or music producer who’s ready to take the next step — but don’t have the gear to get started? We want to hear from you.

Future Frequencies is now accepting applications for free beginner DJ and production equipment. This program is open to U.S.-based applicants aged 16 and up. If you're under 16, please have a parent or guardian apply on your behalf.

To apply, you’ll need to provide:

   - Your full name

   - The age of the person receiving the gear

   - Contact info (email and phone number)

   - A short personal statement telling us who you are, what excites you about learning DJing or production, and why you’re applying

We encourage applicants to be honest about any challenges or hardships they’ve faced — but also to share the positive. Whether it’s school achievements, work experience, recovery milestones, or personal growth, we want to know what makes you proud and motivated to grow.

Please note: We cannot accept all applications, and there may be a waitlist. We do our best to respond to everyone, but if you don’t hear back, we ask that you wait at least 180 days before applying again.

We see you. We believe in the next generation. And we’re here to help you get started.
